Is it always that difficult to add an exit switch for single player maps?

Quite easy:
Add a sprite to the wall and change to #318.
Go to 2d mode and change TYPE to 1-way switch,
TX ID = 5
CMD = ON
Send When GOING ON,
Trigger On PUSH |

I was wondering since 20% of the random single player maps I have downloaded lack exits. Do they run out of ideas and upload their maps unfinished or are they just too lazy? Thanks for the info at any rate. I'm considering to make maps someday. |

Perhaps lazy or perhaps they actually do think their map are cool enough to release or they got tired of it and didn't want to throw it away so they upload it anyway?
Great you want to start mapping, the more people map the better because THAT is what keeps Blood alive! If you have any question, please ask. |

I actually started making my first Blood map about three weeks ago. It's going to be a tiny bb map where the fork and couple TNTs are the only weapons. It's quite simple but can be fun with 4+ players. I'm currently having trouble at drawing sectors inside sectors and texture stretching with correct/best looking match. There are so many key actions to remember how they function and setting flags and tags is much more complicated than in Doom mapping. Btw, how do I open the original Blood levels in my mapedit so I can examine them? |

Use [/] to reset and [.] to align textures (of the same kind of course) |

To open the original maps you need WINBARF. Check my site to get it, google: BME/ILMHB and it's the first that pops up

On my site, go to "DARK DOCUMENTS" and click on "QAV DATA",
it's the first link on the page that follows. |

And about the end-switch; don't forget to tick DUDELOCKOUT in case you got enemies running around in the same area as the button. |
