 AfterShock: The Hunt For Duke -- A Build Map Conversion by Jeff Morris (zippy@which.net)
=========================================================================================

'AfterShock: The Hunt For Duke' was created using the tools provided with the registered versions of both games, on a P133, 48Mb RAM, 2Mb video machine.

Bear in mind this is a *conversion* and not a wholly original map. All (?) I did was re-engineer, re-decorate, re-animate, and fix up the stuff that didn't convert happily.

I've tried to stay faithful to the original, but alas some things don't cross platforms well if at all. Aficionados will -- I hope -- see striking similarities, and interesting differences.

If you've any problems with this map, or want to feed back in any way, email me (zippy@which.net) or sock it to me at Monolith's Blood Forum (www.blood.com).

Good luck finding the Duke! I hope you enjoy racing him into the ground. :)

Quick FAQ:	You DON'T need j-boots to get the super armor
		You DO need j-boots to get to the Super Secret
		You need never run out of j-boots...
		These truths apply to both single and multi play

Happy Killing!

Setting Up And Launching AfterShock Rev 0.1
============================================

The distribution file is SHOCK.ZIP which will cough up these files:

SHOCK.MAP -- the AfterShock 'user map'
SHOCK.INI     -- the Initialisation File
SHOCK1.BAT    -- launcher for single-play
SHOCK2.BAT    -- launcher for multi-play
SHOCKHLP.TXT  -- this text file

Place all of these in your main Blood folder, then launch SHOCK1.BAT for single play, or SHOCK2.BAT for multi-play. These batch files contain the DOS command line for startup using AfterShock's own .ini file. If you want to, you can add up to nine other Blood switches when you launch the batch file (but NOT another '-ini' switch).

Example:   SHOCK1.BAT -NOCD -QUICK

Enjoy! :)
