You made it to the Hall of Epiphany. It seemed to you that Tchernobog
was vanquished. In retrospect, you now realize that flickering of
lights surrounding his wounded body was him teleporting to another
realm, to rest. You find yourself back in this same dispicable
place, once again bent on wrath and vengance for his transgressions
against you. Only...the playing field is different. This realm you
tracked him to, this resting place of his, was formed after a great
earthquake which shattered the very boundary between the underworld
and the world as we know it. Here is where He awaits. Here is where
He has begun gathering his minions, his followers, and his captains.
Here, indeed, is another chance, face to face, to _put him down_.

This level includes monsters, secrets, varying degrees of difficulty,
shading, lighting effects, pools of water, and animated texturing.
It can be played singly, co-op, bloodbath and teamed. Naturally,
the higher you set the difficulty, the worse the monsters become,
with Cerebus and Tchernobog only being seen in at the Well Done
and Extra Crispy settings. If you thought that the Hall of Epiphany
was tough, wait until you have to fight _both_ of them at once. :)
(Note: the single player default does _not_ spawn them.)
This level is highly tuned for bloodbathing, with carefully positioned
embankments, walls, and bunkers. The central "platform" has no
weapons nor ammo. This is to facilitate movement...after all, if
you ain't movin', you is ded! :) Sure, you can _try_ to play
king of the hill and guard your life seed and super armor...heh...
but only till your left with a pitchfork *snicker*. A few final notes:
this is best played (imho) while bloodbathing with the respawn with
markers option turned on for weapons and items. Also, this is my
first level written with that cantankerous mapedit, so if you find
a glitch (I have been _very_ thorough in attempting to squash the lil
buggers) please let me know.

Enough babble. Time to torture test the corpse creation code. :)

Known Bugs : The edges of the pools are seemingly slightly

*** Copyright / Permissions ***
Authors MAY use HOTFOOT.MAP as an additional "sector" within
their maps, provided it is only "linked" to (ie. teleport into...etc)
and it is NOT actually modified or built onto. For example, if someone
wants to create a "front-end" for this sector, such as the Hall of Epiphany
in ruins, and you link to this sector from there, that is fine. However,
to add additional secrets, monsters, rooms, weapons...etc, directly
into or from this sector, that is bad ju-ju.
You MAY distribute HOTFOOT.MAP, provided you include this file,
with no modifications, via any electronic format (BBS,Diskette,CD,etc.)
You MAY include HOTFOOT.MAP in any compilation. You may not alter
the level in any way except the minor change of the MAP number. If you
include HOTFOOT.MAP in a compilation I would appreciate it if you would
send me a copy of that compilation.
