Creating a Door with a Switch


Note: Please refer to the switch.map file when working through this tutorial

1. In 2D mode, set up  a door (please refer to any of the above tutorials and 
maps related to a particular type of doors. 

2. In 3D mode, place  a switch sprite on a near wall.

3. Return to 2D mode, place your cursor on the sprite, and use the < ALT>< F6> 
combination to enter the following data: 

Type: 20
TX ID: Same as the RX ID value given the door.
CMD: 2

Send when:
x going on
x going off
x Push

(to add sounds):
data1: 203
data2: 203

4. In 2D mode, you can add a switch to an existing door by using the <Alt><F5> 
combination to give the door an RX ID value equivalent to the TX ID value fof the switch.
