Conveyor Belts

NOTE: Please refer to the conveyor.map in both mapedit 2D and 
3D mode in conjunction  this tutorial. 

1. In 2D mode, make a basic room.  In 3D mode,  adjust the ceiling 
height and texture to your liking.

2. In 2D mode, create a rectangle somewhere in the room. Go into 3D 
mode and raise it five or six clicks.  Give it  a texture of your choice. 
This will become your conveyor belt.

3. Place your cursor on the conveyor belt sector. Enter the following input:

Type 0 : Normal
State 1 : On

(Scroll down to Fx.., press <Enter>)

Motion Fx:
Speed = 64
Angle = 1024
x pan floor
x drag

If you want to adjust what direction the conveyor belt is moving, use <Alt><F> 
on one of the side lines to align it in the direction you want it to go.

If you want the conveyor to go down the side of a table or wall, then press <Alt><F6> 
on the red line of the wall in 2D mode, and enter the following:

Trigger Flags:
panY = -64 (use the <Page Down> and arrow keys to get into negative numbers.
x pan Always


Add an Ambient sound, and save your work. Now you should have a conveyor belt.
