Creating Locked Doors

NOTE: Please refer to the doorkey.map file while working through this tutorial.

1. Invoke the Trigger/Channel dialog menu to change the door attributes 
(by holding the left <ALT> key and pressing the <F5> key in the door sector).

2. Under Trigger Flags, check the box that says DUDELOCKOUT (using the <Spacebar>). 

3. Next, scroll right to " Key : 0 " and change the '0' to one of the following
numbers instead: 

1 - skull key
2 - eye key
3 - fire key
4 - dagger key
5 - spider key
6 - moon key

4. Place the selected key somewhere in your level. You may also want to place the
specific symbol that matches the key up beside the door so the player will be able to see
what key he/she needs.

5. Save your work, and exit. Now when the key with the specified symbol is found it 
will open the door.
