The attached map is a small, heavily modified extract of Bloatoid's (Death Wish) DWE1M9.map that I used to test an idea I had concerning path sector loops.

The "problem" is practically invisible in Death Wish, except under Map View mode. But I happened to notice in DWE1M9 how the train flipped around seemingly "backwards" on the right-hand side of the loop, and it got me wondering. Upon closer examination in Mapedit, I saw that the first left-hand turn of the train forced a *clockwise* rotation, even though the "track" called for a counter-clockwise turn. So I wondered whether path sectors could be "reset" along the way to force a more natural loop, and came up with this solution.

The Reset itself (prominently labelled on the map) is a 2 path-marker "intercept" process: first a turn to a path marker bearing a NEGATIVE angle, instantly followed (ZERO busy-time) by a flip to the equivalent POSITIVE angle in a second path marker. And voila! The train turns naturally - that is, consistently counter-clockwise - throughout the whole loop. Moreover, the flip is entirely undetectable in-game, even if you're *riding* the sectors.

(As an added bonus and fun side diversion, I put in a "catwalk" platform from which you can jump onto the "flatbed" of the moving train as it passes; just don't move around too much once you're on, or you'll fall off.)

Enjoy!
