Corpse Pile Dungeon (mcorpspd.map)
Author: Martin Brentnall
Type: BloodBath (2-4, Trap Arena)
Details: An arena of rooms and corridors filled with creative traps and
mystery! What's this hole in the ceiling, and why do body parts
keep falling through it? What's beyond the "DEATH" door?
Experiment with the switches to see what happens.
Secrets: 1. In the small orange room containing the rocket trap, it is
possible to open the second square along the back wall to reveal
some items. Resist the super armour, it is a trap that will send
you into the zombie death tunnel!
         2. You guessed it! Yes, it's the "DEATH" door! No, you do not
need to fight your way through it (doing so is a futile effort
because the passages simply lead in circles).
First, enter the death door, but do not enter the second door.
Instead, turn left and open the wall to reveal fire armour and
reflective sheild. Turn left again and open another wall to reveal
a button. Press this button and you'll hear a loud explosion. You
don't actually need to do this, but it does make things far easier
by taking care of many of the enemies at the beginning of the death
maze. Now, enter the death maze.
Immediatly make a 180 degree turn and look on the wall to the right
of the door through which you entered. You should see a faint
button. Press this button to open a wall to your left and quickly
run through and into the light.
You'll find yourself at a pool of water. Jump in to see a nice
spectator view of the zombie death tunnel! If you want to see more
action, hit the switch here to release hordes of zombies into the
death tunnel! Exit the water to find a room looking out through a
one-way wall onto the main arena.
A number of traps can be activated from here. The right-most trap
will cause your victim to be trasported around the room next door,
behind glass, where you may taunt him. The left-most trap changes
the routing of the gray wind-warp temporarily such that it leads into
         the zombie death tunnel.

Other: This is one of my personal proudest achievements; it provides a well
balanced set of creative traps, a very nice layout, good asthetics
and a creative sense of humour. Note that the geometry of this map
         does not make sense.
The map is named after the area below the diamond shaped hole, from
which dead bodies and various bloody body parts continuously fall,
eventually piling up to the ceiling if left untouched. The mechanism
uses zombie respawn points and a wind warp, where the zombies trigger
rockets to blow them up over the hole, causing the dead remains to
fall through (I call this area the "zombie death tunnel"). It is
also possible for human players to end up in the zombie death tunnel.
(Don't attempt to take the life seed nearby the hole!)
It is recommended to have a fairly fast machine for playing this map.
